Concept

For an exhibition about democracy in the Futurium, a globe was designed—first in two dimensions, then brought into the third dimension using Rhino and Grasshopper.

First, the Earth was mapped onto a digital globe. Afterwards, the holes for the pins to hold the steel plate structure were projected to fit the location of the sub-structure. Then, this drawing was projected back onto a flat surface and prepared to create working drawings for on-site mounting.

The exhibition was themed around democracy, and questions surrounding its survivability and future.
